Buying a new kitchen can be a stressful experience, especially if like me you have no real experience of buying and installing the things. I had no real idea of the cost of either the kitchen itself or installation, and only a vague idea of how I wanted it to look. Initially I went to Wicks, which only served to increase my disquiet, as the designer did a poor job and suggested a design that was far too clutered for our medium sized space. Also the total cost was considerable. My wife and I were then advised to visit Benchmarx which, although supplying trade only, will compile a design and cost materials for the general public. You then hire a fitter who buys the stuff and does the job. This was one of the best bits of advice ever. I cannot praise Sam and Debbie (malvern branch) highly enough. Both are knowledgeable, produced an excellent practical design to our budget and suggested areas where we could cut costs without compromising the quality. I would trust them both, to give good, honest, impartial advice. The total cost of the kitchen was also considerably cheaper than Wicks, although the latter was offering a "massive" 50% discount on the headline price.
