Bought a kitchen recently and now it all fitted and had time to settle in I can say I am really delighted with it and bathroom supplied by MKM . Happy that it was good value for money overall and when factoring in the quality and service as well it very easy to recommend these guys. Stewart did an accurate and very professional visit to measure and advise and was most helpful in every respect helping locate some options for reliable fitting. Being able to trust the people you but from is so important so thanks again Stu! We had a couple of minor issues that were overcome with ease leaving me with a truly great impression of the Sharston branch. I recommend them without reservations and will be fitting another kitchen in the near future. Ib will be a pleasure to do business again.

We bought a kitchen from MKM Sharston and the quality was outstanding and at a very competetive price. Stuart who handles the kitchen side was brilliant from start to finish. Been using mkm in sharston for a while now the lads in the yard on behind the tills are a great helpful bunch always doing there best that your happy not like the other builder's merchants not so far away. They will always try beat prices and I'd say 90% of the Time they do always gonna have the odd item tgat might find a quid or 2 cheaper. Had tgere kitchen designer Stuart hankinson designing my kitchen great service nothing was too much trouble and went into detail of spec kitchen to suit everyone needs. Great service great guy keep up the great work

Although the experience started well, it ended very badly when I received the invoice. I went in knowing that MKM is a local Builders Merchant expecting it to be reasonably priced and geared toward tradesman. When I went in the showroom was of a similar make up to Screwfix but larger. I always have concerns when retailers fail to display pricing within the store, even when you are looking at B2B sales. Whilst myself and the tradesman that has been working for me packed what we needed into the van, I sent my wife into the showroom to settle the bill. When she returned and explained the final bill I was confused as to how it could possibly be that much. I had been been charged £18.81 Ex VAT for a bottle of wood glue that only costs £10.26 Inc VAT in Tool Station. This is quite simply an outrageous variation in pricing, and as somebody that owns a retail business I think it is important to highlight when people are being ripped off. If I wanted to be ripped off for products like this I would have gone to B&Q in the first place. Unfortunately I am in such a rush and have an urgent requirement for the work to be completed that this has been a pill that I have had to swallow on this occasion. Under normal circumstances I would have gone back with this but time will not allow it. However in the long term I will be making sure that I inform all of my local friends an family that are tradesman about the deceptive pricing strategies in this merchants to fore warn them that they will not be informed of any pricing until they receive the invoice. In fact it almost feels as though they have taken advantage because my wife was in there paying the bill. If I had been the one paying I wouldn't have allowed the transaction to go through. Whilst I appreciate that MKM is new in the area, if you carry on like this then your reputation certainly won't thrive. The most frustrating thing is that I believed that with it being a large scale traditional builders merchant that it would be in fact cheaper. In fact the timber wasn't particularly reasonable either. I for one will not use this place again.
