My boiler suddenly stopped working overnight, S.H Plumbing & Heating came out same day; the engineer identified the problem quickly, replaced the faulty part... all while being really friendly, polite, and helpful - kindly answering all my questions... and I now have a working boiler again!
I will not hesitate to call them again for any future needs and will definitely be calling them to arrange a boiler service! I honestly cannot praise them highly enough!
The price was definitely fair for same day call out, parts and labour! Let’s face it, any unexpected expense is always going to sting, but there was no dreaded ‘sucking of teeth’ moment while they tried to work how much to rip you off - instead, he was open and clear about the costs, and kind enough to deliver the total gently!

Alister3 StarMixed bag. Called them a couple times. Quick free assessment was good. Assessment seemed honest. Pricing for service was medium-high. Workmanship seemed okay, the finish could be better. down end (downend80)1 StarI do not think I can safely recommend this company to anyone. I contacted them just recently regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. They did send someone round. What I found unprofessional and particularly disturbing is that the so-called plumber went away and allegedly bought certain missing parts but without first seeking my approval or checking with me whether I should buy the parts myself to save money. He then charged me a whopping £15 for those unsolicited parts but he then failed wholly to supply a receipt for that purchase. Isn’t this something he should have done automatically without prompting? On top of that he charged an hourly rate for work completed in a few minutes. Wholly dishonest to claim to have purchased something but then fail repeatedly to supply a receipt as proof of purchase. For this reason, I would not recommend this bunch to anyone as they do not appear to be operating professionally, certainly not with a modicum of trust and honesty. AVOID!!!Sunday 22nd March 2020

Same day on appointment I asked that heater is just£29 and boiler service u charging £79 and just for change the heater u asking rest that’s not understandable so all that’s the question and all of sudden started raising the voice and Very disrespectful, like I know him he raising his tune and talking to me that’s something his guy needs to learn how to respect and also started sending text on what’s app with full of thrash and rudeness which is not acceptable for anyone I would advise who ever reading comments just go for some who is gentlemen not the arrogant and disrespectful pleaseTuesday 8th February 2022
TJ Starr5 StarThere aren't many worse scenarios for me than not having hot water. Having a water leak in my home at the same time was a nightmare. After calling around when no one else could help me, I was so happy to come across this company. Not only were they available at a late hour during the night, they were also helpful and professional. Especially as I was freaking out! They managed to calm me down and get straight to the problem. My boiler has now been fixed at a shockingly great price. the leak has been found and repaired. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Their service is speedy, they are friendly and helpful, and they get the job done.Friday 26th July 2013
